A. RIGHTS OF THE DATA SUBJECT
Under the personal data protection legislation, everyone has the right to apply to our Company, which has the status of data controller, regarding the following matters:
a) To learn whether personal data is being processed,
b) To request information if personal data has been processed,
c) To learn the purpose of processing personal data and whether they are used in accordance with their purpose,
ç) To know the third parties to whom personal data is transferred domestically or abroad,
d) To request correction of personal data if it is incomplete or inaccurately processed,
e) To request the deletion or destruction of personal data within the framework of the conditions stipulated in the personal data protection legislation,
f) To request notification of the operations carried out pursuant to sub-paragraphs (d) and (e) to third parties to whom personal data have been transferred,
g) To object to the occurrence of a result against the person himself/herself by analyzing the processed data exclusively through automated systems,
ğ) To demand the compensation of the damage in case of suffering damage due to unlawful processing of personal data.
B. PROCEDURE AND PRINCIPLES OF REQUEST TO THE DATA CONTROLLER
Pursuant to the personal data protection legislation and the relevant regulations, requests to our Company regarding these rights must be submitted through one of the following methods:
- In writing,
- Using secure electronic signature,
- Using a registered electronic mail address,
- Using a mobile signature,
- Sending an e-mail from the email address previously notified to the data controller and registered in the data controller’s system.
Request must include the following information:
- Name, surname, and signature if the request is in writing,
- For citizens of the Republic of Turkey, identity number, for foreigners, nationality, passport number, or if any, identification number,
- Residential or workplace address for notification,
- If any, electronic mail address, telephone and fax number for notification,
- Subject of the request.
Information and documents related to the subject must be attached to the request if available.
For written request, the date when the document is delivered to the data controller or its representative will be considered as the request date.
For other methods of request, the date when the request is received by the data controller will be considered as the request date.
The request will be concluded free of charge within the shortest time possible and within no later than thirty days, depending on the nature of the request. However, if the process requires an additional cost, the fee in the tariff determined by the relevant regulations may be charged.
Request must be made by the individual themselves. An request on behalf of someone else can only be made by presenting a power of attorney, provided that it includes content to request information within the scope of the personal data protection legislation. Our Company may request verification information from the request if there is any doubt about the identity of the request.
